Step 4 (Last Step for SAP) Determines Eligibility Date for RTD TEST
The SAP will determine when you are able to take a return to duty test.
Step 4 is when the SAP is satisfied that you have met any recommendations for classes and update the eligibility date in the Clearinghouse -- make sure you do not take a test before that date. If you do the Clearinghouse will not accept it.
- The SAP CANNOT enter your return to duty test results nor send you for the DOT test.
- Your SAP may not recommend your eligibility date if you have not completed the treatment or classes they recommend.
Once your SAP puts the date you are eligible for the RTD test, you will need an employer, potential employer, OR ME! An RTD Third Party / RTD CTPA to send you for your return to duty.
